Karma RX and Charlotte Stokely, two soon-to-wed fiancees, are relaxing in bed together. Karma notices Charlotte's computer screen as they snuggle and daydream. 'Who is Ella?' she asks, having to nudge a little harder when Charlotte tries to avoid the question. Charlotte eventually caves and admits that Ella Knox is a high school ex who broke her heart. But it doesn't matter because all of that is in the past. They were inexperienced and illiterate. With Karma, it's all about the future now!
