Mommys Girl - The Family Therapist

After Elle Alexandra complains to her father that her workaholic stepmom Angela Sommers treats her coldly and makes her feel like a nuisance, he sends them both to a great family therapist Allie Haze to work out their issues. When the girls meet for their therapy session, Elle expresses her dissatisfaction with her stepmother, and Angela responds that her job is stressful and that she is underappreciated by Elle. Allie notices a lack of affection in the relationship, noting that while Angela financially supports Elle, she does not meet her emotional needs. The therapist suggests an unconventional but effective method for Angela to express her feelings for Elle. To remove the emotional masks we wear while playing our roles.
