Kristen Scott, a young masseuse, has joined the ranks of a massive multi-level marketing company that sells essential oils. Angela White, her district manager, comes by the spa to drop off new samples and review her weekly sales. She looks over the spreadsheet and praises her increasing sales figures. The masseuse is beaming with pride as she works hard to impress her boss.
The district manager notices that all of her customers are repeat buyers. She requests that she acquire at least two new customers before the quarterly meeting. The district manager notices that her NURU gel sales are declining. She is concerned that the gel isn't selling as well here, despite the fact that it's a hot ticket item everywhere else.
