Slighted Brat Remy LaCroix enters the kitchen undetected and opens a can. Remy doesn't consider the repercussions, and she surely doesn't give a damn about what her stepmother Ariella Ferrera thinks. She is caught red-handed by Ariella, who demands that she turn over what she is aware is prohibited. After agreeing, Remy turns around and leaves, considering additional ways to irritate her mother.
Because her husband is constantly gone and because Remy irritates her so much, Ariella gets ready for a supper she is treating herself to. Ariella has no idea that Remy is standing outside her door listening in on the conversation. Remy snaps at Ariella for talking trash about her after having enough.
