Avi Love, 18, sneaks through a quiet, dark living room while gripping her high heels. She appears triumphant but is clearly making an effort to keep quiet.
The room's lighting is suddenly turned on. When Avi turns to see her stepmother Reagan Foxx seated, she is startled.
Avi awkwardly tries to cover her tracks, but her dress makes it obvious that she hasn't, so she has to explain that she was at a party. For being out so late, Reagan chastises her. Avi is invited to sit down on the couch next to Reagan after she calms down and explains that she was only concerned about her.
