Mommys Girl - Mother's Day Blues

Two pals, Dee Williams and India Summer, are catching up for a short while. It's Mother's Day, and it appears that their stepdaughters, Scarlett Sage and Gia Derza, have completely forgotten about it, which has both of them feeling a little angry. Is it too much to ask for relatives to make me feel a little special since it only happens once a year?
They are eventually cut off when Scarlett and Gia arrive home after their own night out. Dee and India greet their stepdaughters while attempting to make a Mother's Day-related suggestion, but the teenagers don't seem to notice. The moms finally come clean, expressing how wounded they are to be overlooked. Gia and Scarlett both feel bad but assure the mothers that they weren't overlooked.
