When Kayla Paige's stepdaughter, Kate Kennedy, requests to speak with her one day, she is taken aback and frightened. It doesn't take long for Kate to come out and say that she is gay, despite a few awkward moments. In reality, she's been having a serious crush on Noemie at school.
