Gia Derza has a date today, so she is looking especially nice. She returns home, though, looking dejected and disheartened, so something must have gone wrong. Gia seeks solace from Sarah Vandella, her stepmother. Being a kind stepmother, Sarah is eager to inquire as to Gia's condition.
Despite her initial shyness, Gia eventually reveals what went wrong: Gia was terrible at playing around with her date. Gia is ashamed and wonders if she was ever a decent sex performer in the first place.
Gia reportedly choked on the date because of her anxiety, according to Sarah. Sarah makes the decision that she would do whatever it took to win Gia's trust.
