Madi Collins, Sonia Harcourt's stepdaughter, has returned home for a visit after her first semester of college. Madi discusses how interesting college life is and how it's a completely different world than what she's used to. In fact, she has some inquiries. Sonia encourages her to ask, so Madi mentions that her college roommate has a girlfriend. Both the roommate and the girlfriend are nice people, but Madi is unsure how their relationship works because the only sex she's heard of involves girls with guys.
Sonia patiently and sweetly explains to Madi that love is love and that there are numerous ways for women to experience sexual pleasure with other women.
